Griffith Centers is seeking a strategic and mission-driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team. This role will lead the organizations financial strategy ensuring sustainability compliance and alignment with organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads all financial reporting activities including monthly updates and presentations to the President/CEO Executive Committee and Board of Directors.
  • Manages financial statement and benefit plan audits coordinates with CPA firm on IRS Form 990 preparation and completes required state and regulatory filings.
  • Oversees departmental and organization-wide budgets collaborating with leadership and the Board to ensure financial health sustainability and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Directs the month-end close process ensuring accuracy in financial reporting journal entries bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Ensures compliance with accounting standards regulatory obligations grant requirements and continuously strengthens financial policies procedures internal controls and reporting systems.
  • Partners with leadership to coordinate and prioritize short-term and long-term organizational planning.

Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Accounting required.
  • 10 years of experience in a similar role required.
  • 5 years of proven leadership and management experience.
  • Previous experience working with Medicaid DHS and other State agency funding is a plus.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a plus.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
