Pay Rate: $18.90 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to students faculty staff and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor access control points and check identification credentials and/or visitor logs to help support authorized entry and exit throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around campus buildings common areas and perimeter locations with working environments and conditions varying by assignment.
• Communicate with campus personnel guests and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns access issues and/or observed policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
