Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Technologist Hematology
Location: Jamaica NY (Queens)
Department: Hematology
Shift: 8x5 Evening Shift 4:00 PM 12:00 AM
Weekly Hours: 35 Hours/Week
About the Role:
Seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technologist to support Hematology laboratory operations and provide accurate diagnostic testing in a hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform Hematology laboratory testing including CBC and DIFF analysis
Follow NYSED and hospital laboratory protocols
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of test results
Support quality patient care through timely diagnostics
Maintain compliance with laboratory safety and quality standards
Requirements & Preferred Skills:
Minimum 1 year Clinical Laboratory Technologist experience required
Experience with CBC and DIFF testing required
Valid NYSED Clinical Laboratory Technologist (092) license required
Associates Degree in Laboratory Technology required
Bachelors Degree preferred
Primary Source Verification required
BLS certification preferred
Full English proficiency required (Read Write Speak)
Strong laboratory and analytical skills
