Job Summary

Job Title: Locum NP/PA - Cardiothoracic Surgeon

Facility Overview:

Join our dedicated team at a prominent healthcare facility located in the vibrant city of San Bernardino California. Known for its warm community atmosphere and convenient amenities this facility is committed to providing high-quality care in both hospital and medical office settings. We are currently seeking an NP/PA Cardiothoracic Surgeon to support our mission for a duration of 6 months.

Job Responsibilities:

Surgery first assist
Hospital rounding
On-call duties
Rooming and charting of patients
Required procedures: CABG AVRs Lung surgeries
Utilize EMR system (Cerner)
Manage an average of 4-5 patients per day

Qualifications:

Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery or General Surgery with a CT Surgery Fellowship
Valid California State License
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Self-Query NPDB report dated within the last 30 days
Clean malpractice history strongly preferred

License and Certification Requirements:

Board Certification: Required
State License: California (Required)
Other Certifications: BLS (Required during credentialing)
Self-Query NPDB report is mandatory at the time of presentation
