Position Title: Ultrasound Technologist General
Location: Rifle CO 81650
Employment Type: Travel / Contract
Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: Saturday Sunday Monday 2 days on-call (weekend coverage) Possible 4x10-hour shifts

Job Summary:
Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations across a wide patient population in a critical access hospital including general vascular breast OB/GYN abdominal and small parts imaging while ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams (General Vascular Breast OB/GYN Abdomen Small Parts)
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment (Pixus Ultrasound GE Logic 10)
- Review patient history and physician orders before procedures
- Prepare and educate patients for imaging studies
- Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
- Participate in on-call coverage as required
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years Ultrasound experience required
- ARDMS certification required
- ARRT certification required
- Vascular ultrasound experience required
- Breast ultrasound experience required
- BLS certification required or must obtain within 3 months
- Strong knowledge of ultrasound imaging procedures
- Ability to work independently in hospital setting
- Strong communication and patient care skills
Preferred:
- OB/GYN Abdomen and Small Parts experience
- Associate or Bachelors degree in Radiologic Sciences preferred
- Prior hospital experience preferred
- First-time travelers considered
