Registered Nurse ICU (Travel Contract)
Location: Falmouth Massachusetts

Position Details

• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Schedule: 36 Hours/Week
• Shift: Night Shift (3x12s)
• Hours: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
• Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Rotating Holidays
• Float Requirement: May float to Med/Surg Tele units based on census and operational needs

Job Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Falmouth MA. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced intensive care environment while demonstrating strong clinical judgment critical thinking and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process: assessment planning implementation and evaluation
• Monitor and manage critically ill patients requiring intensive care interventions
• Administer medications and evaluate patient responses
• Operate and monitor ventilators invasive lines and hemodynamic equipment
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Develop and update individualized patient care plans
• Serve as charge nurse when assigned
• Follow all hospital safety infection control and compliance protocols
• Participate in patient and family education as appropriate
• Float to Med/Surg Tele units when required

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN License
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current BLS Certification
• Current ACLS Certification
• ICU/Critical Care nursing experience required
• Ability to work night shifts weekends and holidays
• Strong communication organizational and critical thinking skills

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN preferred
• CCRN Certification
• TCAR Certification
• De-escalation Training Certification
• Experience with ventilator management hemodynamic monitoring and intracranial pressure monitoring
