Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Nurse Oncology Chemo Certified
Location: Los Angeles CA
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay Rate:
Local: $2100 - $2400 Weekly
Travel: $2700 - $2900 Weekly
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift 4x10 Hours 07:00 AM 05:30 PM Weekly Hours: 40 Hours
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Nurse Oncology Chemo Certified for an exciting Travel or Local job in Los Angeles CA.
Responsibilities:
- Administer chemotherapy biotherapy and infusion treatments
- Manage ports PICC lines and central lines
- Monitor and respond to oncology-related emergencies and side effects
- Provide patient and family education and symptom management
- Document patient care using EPIC EMR
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years Oncology RN experience required
- Outpatient oncology experience preferred
- EPIC experience required
- First-time travelers accepted
- Graduate of accredited Nursing program
- Active California RN License required
- BLS (AHA or ARC) required
- ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Certification required
- Experience with infusion therapy and vascular access
- Skilled in IV starts PICC care and central line management
- Strong critical thinking and patient communication skills
