Job Summary
Position Title: Medical Assistant
Location: Flushing NY 11355
Employment Type: Full-Time Contract
Shift: Day Shift (8:30 AM 4:30 PM) 5x8 Hours
Schedule: Monday Friday
Job Summary:
Provide clinical and administrative support in a busy outpatient clinic assisting providers with patient care documentation and daily clinic operations. Must be fluent in Mandarin.
Responsibilities:
- Assist providers during patient examinations and procedures
- Obtain and document vital signs and medical histories
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Complete EMR documentation and administrative tasks
- Provide patient education as directed by providers
- Maintain infection control and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Completion of Medical Assistant training program required
- BLS certification required
- Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA RMA)
- Minimum 1 year Medical Assistant experience preferred
- Fluent in Mandarin required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced outpatient setting
