We are hiring a Production Extruder Technician to join a high-performing manufacturing team operating advanced extrusion equipment in a fast-paced production environment.

This is not a basic machine operator role.

We are looking for someone who understands extrusion processes troubleshooting machine setup quality control and production optimization. You will play a key role in maintaining output reducing downtime and ensuring product quality standards are consistently met.

What Youll Be Doing

• Prepare and set up extrusion machines based on production schedules

• Operate and monitor extrusion equipment during production runs

• Adjust process parameters including temperature speed and pressure

• Troubleshoot production issues defects and machine inconsistencies

• Perform routine equipment maintenance and assist with repairs

• Conduct product quality inspections and dimensional checks

• Monitor production dashboards and respond to operational issues

• Support line startups and changeovers within assigned production areas

• Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to maximize uptime

• Follow all manufacturing safety procedures and PPE requirements

What Were Looking For

Required

• 2 years of experience in extrusion manufacturing or industrial production

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability

• Experience operating or supporting extrusion equipment

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Comfortable working afternoon shift and overtime when required

Strong Assets

• Plastics extrusion experience

• Experience with process optimization and troubleshooting

• Understanding of hydraulics pneumatics and industrial machinery

• Ability to read blueprints schematics and technical documents

• Experience with manufacturing KPIs production targets and quality systems
