We are now seeking an HR Manager to join us on a temporary basis for 11 months to cover maternity leave starting September 2026 based in Espoo office.
The Role
As a HR business partner you will support the execution of our business strategy within our Sales and Delivery organisations by planning and delivering an effective people agenda. You will operate as a trusted partner to management teams enabling organisational effectiveness leadership capability and employee engagement to enable business growth.
In addition this role ensures local compliance with relevant employment legislations securing monthly payroll and related activities in selected countries. The role is also responsible for the maintenance of the HRIS system. You will also contribute to and lead selected global HR projects.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Partnership: Be proactive partner to business with high Business & Commercial Acumen develop and implement people strategies and solutions that enable that enable business growth strategy.
Leadership & Coaching: Work closely with management teams providing professional coaching and guidance on performance development and team dynamics. Facilitates leadership discussions on behaviours and climate.
Strategic workforce and org design: Aligns workforce strategy and organizational design with business objectives and growth plans to build new capabilities
Change Management: Lead and support organisational change initiatives ensuring adoption and sustainability. Connects whats changing to what it means for people
Culture & Engagement: Diagnoses engagement and culture issues using data and listening to drive accountability and continues improvement.
Talent Development & Performance Management: Coach leaders on performance management feedback and development Supports talent reviews succession planning. Supports talent and leadership development.
Employee Relations & Compliance: Ensure compliance with local employment legislation in Norway Greece and Germany; oversee payroll HR administration HRIS and time & attendance.
Global Collaboration: Contribute to global HR initiatives and projects ensuring local alignment with global standards.
Requirements
57 years experience as an HR Business Partner ideally in an international or matrix organisation (maritime industry experience is a plus).
Experience in coaching managers & leaders and contributing to the business strategy through strategic people planning and execution.
Experience of developing people practices and initiatives that drive business growth
Experience of leading change initiatives and managing change
Recognised coaching certification (e.g. ICF EMCC or equivalent) with handson experience coaching managers and leaders.
Previous experience in local employment relations and collective bargaining and payroll.
Strong experience in strategic people planning organisational development and delivering people initiatives that support business outcomes.
Demonstrated experience leading and managing change.
Solid understanding of HR best practices labour law and employment relations.
Understanding cultural sensitivities and differences.
Strong communication and presentation skills and solid facilitation skills.
People-oriented approach with a strong drive for results and willingness to work in a fast-paced changing environment.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources Business or a related field.
Fluent English spoken and written.
