Position Specific Description:

Engineering Construction & Supply Chain (ECSC) is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the execution and delivery of large-scale energy storage and infrastructure initiatives. This role is responsible for driving project execution from planning through commissioning and operational readiness while coordinating cross-functional engineering construction business and product teams.

The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of project execution including safety cost schedule quality contract administration stakeholder coordination delivery management and operational readiness. This individual will act as the primary leader during field execution and product rollout phases ensuring alignment across technical and business teams while maintaining accountability for project objectives timelines risks and deliverables.

The ideal candidate combines strong infrastructure project management experience with modern delivery management practices and is comfortable working across engineering technology operations and business organizations. This role requires a proactive leader capable of navigating ambiguity driving accountability improving collaboration and supporting successful project adoption and execution.

Projects may range from $200M to $1.5B in total project value and include utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) substations transmission infrastructure and integrated energy solutions.

Primary Areas of Responsibility Project Execution & Delivery Management:

Lead full lifecycle execution of utility-scale energy storage and infrastructure projects from initiation through commissioning and operational readiness
Manage day-to-day project delivery activities including planning sessions stakeholder meetings status reviews team coordination and follow-up actions
Drive project execution by actively managing scope schedule cost quality risks dependencies and decision-making processes
Coordinate cross-functional teams including Development Engineering Procurement Construction Supply Chain Operations Product and Business Management groups
Ensure accountability across teams for project commitments milestones timelines and deliverables
Oversee safety management contract administration permitting coordination and regulatory compliance activities
Support engineering integration activities related to power electronics battery energy storage systems substations and utility infrastructure
Manage relationships with suppliers contractors regulators consultants and external stakeholders
Identify project risks bottlenecks and execution challenges while proactively driving mitigation strategies
Support product rollout and operational readiness activities to ensure successful project adoption and transition to operations
Facilitate communication between technical and business teams to maintain alignment on priorities delivery expectations and execution plans
Monitor project financial performance budgets forecasts and cost controls throughout project execution
Serve as the company representative with local national and regulatory agencies during project execution phases
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve execution efficiency delivery quality and stakeholder coordination

Supporting Areas of Responsibility Product & Operational Delivery:

Partner closely with Product Owners and technical leadership teams to maintain clear priorities and execution alignment
Manage Jira boards workflows dashboards backlogs reporting and delivery tracking activities
Support agile delivery practices while balancing structure flexibility and execution urgency
Assist teams with issue resolution escalation management and cross-functional coordination
Support commissioning startup activities and operational turnover processes
Facilitate strong communication with executive leadership and project stakeholders regarding status risks dependencies and mitigation plans
Promote a user-centered and operationally focused delivery approach to improve project adoption and readiness

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Engineering Construction Management Project Management or related field required
6 10 years of experience in project management program management delivery management or infrastructure project execution
Experience leading large-scale energy storage infrastructure renewable energy or utility projects
Strong experience managing project schedules budgets execution risks and stakeholder communications
Experience coordinating cross-functional engineering construction technical and business teams
Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies operational readiness and rollout management
Excellent communication leadership facilitation and organizational skills
Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced and ambiguous environments
Strong problem-solving decision-making and accountability management capabilities

Desired Qualifications:

Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
Experience supporting utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects
