Interview: Onsite Interview
Shift: Monday - Thursday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm with availability to work overtime on Fri and Sat
The Assembler will be working on the assigned production line and will be required to follow SOP for specific job assignment. Measure cut and assemble door units. Assist a variety of functions with manual labor tasks as needed. The assembler will either work on Patio Stock Interior Stock or Entry Stock work areas. Works under immediate supervision.
What will you do:
Verify materials being used is correct by reading the bill of materials
Ensure materials meet quality expectations
Palletize wrap and label units as needed
Assembles fabricated parts to relatively large or heavy subassemblies and complete units
Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications
Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
Verifies that components are being placed in the correct position per SOP
Repeats tasks until entire door stack is complete
Cleans up work area when shift ends Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment
Solid verbal and written communication skills
Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts practices and procedures within a particular field
Strong analytical skills & Knowledge of all door components
Efficient with multiple manual machines and pneumatic equipment such as Nail Gun Screw Gun Router Tape Measure Square
Required to stand for long periods of time
May involve some repetitive motions - bending stooping squatting pushing and pulling of parts and part containers
Ability to organize and maintain detailed records
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and can multi-task
Read and understand bill of materials Due to the open environment of the facility must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat humidity and cold Must be able to read a tape measure and have basic math skills
What you will need:
- Preferably one two year experience in manufacturing setting
- HS Diploma or GED preferred
- Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
