Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Peoria Illinois
Job Description:
- The Manufacturing Engineer demonstrates leadership in communicating developing and executing manufacturing schedules to the set objectives.
- Supports daily activities in process developments validation activities and change management.
- In this role you will utilize your experience and expertise to solve problems develop & execute objectives & have the ability to meet company objectives within the time lines specifically related to your assigned projects.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Support Product Design for Automated work cell components and vision Fixturing End of Arm Tools and Brackets.
- Read and interpret mechanical diagrams including complex automated system drawings.
- Collaborate with the automation team in the qualification process of automated systems.
- Records procedures and results numerical and graphical data and recommendations for changes in product or method.
- Maintains software documentation and equipment to the latest revision or operational specifications.
- Assists engineers in developing and designing hardware and software required for all automation solutions per specifications.
- Trains other technicians and operators on products processes and equipment.
- Proper use of power tools and measuring equipment
Qualifications/Requirements:
- B.S in Engineering Technical Practice or Equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering quality or Production and Manufacturing Operations in a Automotive or related industry.
- Proficeint in 3D modeling such as Solid Works.
- Previous design qualification and build experience.
- Travel Requirements up to 30%
Desired Characteristics
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Capability to work in teams
- Six Sigma Green Belt Certified.
- CAD CREO or Pro-E proficiency.
- Solid works and 3D design
