Power Supply Design Engineer

Location: Endicott NY
Visa: USC/GC
Salary: $130K $140K/year

Job Description:

Looking for an Electrical Design Engineer with strong experience in Power Electronics design for aerospace flight control systems engine control systems cabin systems and ground vehicle drive systems.

Responsibilities include:

Design of DC/DC and AC/DC high-reliability power electronics (20W 500W range)
Circuit design including part selection schematic capture PWB support simulation analysis and verification testing

Mandatory Skills:

BSEE or equivalent technical degree
12 years of power conversion design experience
Experience with converter topologies such as Buck Boost Flyback Forward Push-Pull Half-Bridge Cuk Sepic etc.
Magnetics design experience
Strong knowledge of MOSFETs Schottky Diodes IGBTs
Control loop analysis
Experience with PSPICE MathCad
Experience with DC/DC converters motor drives gate drives analog circuitry and magnetics
Strong team collaboration skills and self-driven attitude
