Required Skills (10 Years):

Experience developing/maintaining mainframe based tax management systems using COBOL including Install/1 system management
Development experience with COBOL EASYTRIEVE MVS JCL CICS SQL and DB2 in a mainframe environment
Experience in Technical and Functional Requirements documentation
Extensive knowledge of techniques and methodologies relating to software quality assurance and testing through the full systems development lifecycle.
Databases: VSAM DB2 IMS
Environment: TSO/ISPF z/OS MVS IMS Windows
Experience with troubleshooting and debugging mainframe application.

SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:
Contractor is needed to support the Tax System Modernization.

Provide direct technical support for the NCDOR mainframe based legacy tax management system (ITAS).
- The selected candidate will participate in requirements design development testing implementation and maintenance support for the NCDOR mainframe based legacy tax management system (ITAS)
- Will work closely with other support team members to determine the best approach to resolve issues as part of day-to-day support of legacy system. Issue resolution will often require software changes and testing.
- Will work closely with others as a team member in design development and testing of legislative and operational changes to legacy system.
