Job Title: Cerner Millennium CCL Data Migration Lead -15 years exp

Location: Austin Tx (Remote)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Responsibilities:

• Assess analyze and document clinical workflows across inpatient outpatient and ancillary care environments
• Translate clinical and operational requirements into technical specifications for reporting analytics and data extraction solutions
• Design develop test optimize troubleshoot and maintain Cerner Command Language (CCL) scripts within Cerner Millennium environments
• Perform complex data extraction validation reconciliation and migration activities using Cerner Millennium Oracle schemas
• Support enterprise-wide EHR migration reporting modernization and legacy retirement initiatives
• Develop and maintain ETL processes structured data feeds and flat file extracts
• Troubleshoot downstream integration reporting and performance-related issues
• Execute and tune CCL scripts batch jobs and production support processes
• Collaborate with clinical informatics teams governance bodies and technical stakeholders to ensure accurate implementation of clinical intent
• Communicate technical constraints dependencies and data limitations to non-technical stakeholders
• Analyze business objectives workflows and operational procedures to identify automation and system improvement opportunities
• Conduct system analysis feasibility studies and cost/benefit evaluations
• Review system capabilities specifications and scheduling limitations for requested enhancements or modifications
• Prepare detailed documentation for user requirements program functions and development processes
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operations
• Experience supporting large-scale EHR implementations migrations optimization and modernization initiatives
• Advanced hands-on experience with Cerner Command Language (CCL)
• Strong working knowledge of Cerner Millennium architecture and Oracle databases
• Experience translating clinical requirements into technical and data specifications
• Expertise in SQL Linux and enterprise data extraction and migration patterns
• Experience designing developing and supporting ETL processes
• Familiarity with healthcare integrations reporting platforms and analytics environments
• Experience with REST and SOA development
• Knowledge of distributed systems networking and performance tuning
• Experience writing executing optimizing and supporting CCL scripts in production environments
• Strong background in data extraction system integration and technical code development
• Working knowledge of Java C C Python Perl or OCI
• Experience supporting services on public cloud platforms including AWS Azure GCP or OCI
• Strong analytical troubleshooting communication and documentation skills
• Experience supporting Cerner Millennium production environments
• Previous experience serving as a Senior Cerner Consultant or Technical Lead
• Healthcare informatics and enterprise reporting experience
• Experience supporting EHR legacy system retirement initiatives
