Workday Lead PRISM HRMS Project

Job Summary
Job Summary (List Format):
- Lead the design configuration optimization and support of the Workday Human Resource Management System (HRMS) for the State of Maine.
- Serve as the primary technical and functional lead for Workday HRMS modules (e.g. Core HCM Compensation Benefits Absence Time Tracking Payroll Talent).
- Act as the main liaison between MaineIT Application Development HR Payroll and agency stakeholders to ensure alignment with statewide HR business requirements and operational priorities.
- Collaborate with HR Product Owners agency leadership and MaineIT stakeholders to define document and translate detailed technical requirements into actionable user stories.
- Maintain and update backlog items and provide regular status updates to the Scrum Master including progress risks and blockers.
- Work closely with configuration analysts and business partners to ensure accurate translation of requirements into Workday configurations.
- Define and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) strategy scenarios and success criteria with business partners.
- Identify and develop training materials job aids and standard operating procedures (SOPs) as needed.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning backlog refinement daily stand-ups sprint reviews retrospectives) and support release planning including coordination with Workday releases and deployments.
- Promote adoption of Workday best practices and delivered functionality to maximize system value and minimize customizations.
- Demonstrate strong leadership collaboration analytical thinking communication and stakeholder engagement skills in a remote work environment.
