Job Summary

- Deliver classroom-based training sessions for inpatient nursing staff focused on Epic system workflows and updates.
- Provide refresher training on Epic efficiencies and standardized nursing documentation practices.
- Instruct users on Epic tools including navigators flowsheets MAR Rover care plans patient education and nursing reports.
- Teach integration and use of the Mytonomy patient education video application within clinical workflows.
- Reinforce UC Davis Health policies and procedures related to Epic clinical workflows and documentation standards.
- Document and track questions issues and feedback from training sessions.
- Offer go-live support to inpatient nursing units and assist with post-go-live stabilization.
- Conduct make-up training sessions as needed based on staff and operational requirements.
- Identify and escalate common user issues to support readiness efforts.
- Utilize experience with Epic inpatient modules and clinical end-user training delivery.
- Translate clinical workflows and policies into clear effective end-user instruction.
- Preferred: Prior experience as an Epic trainer or clinical informatics educator Epic certification and familiarity with UC Davis Health workflows.
