Compensation: $80000 $130000 per year

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to support civil construction sitework and foundation projects. The role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates performing quantity takeoffs and supporting competitive bid submissions aligned with project scope and market conditions.

Responsibilities

Review construction drawings specifications and bid documents
Prepare quantity takeoffs and detailed cost estimates for labor materials and equipment
Analyze project scope risks and production costs
Obtain and evaluate pricing from subcontractors and suppliers
Support bid preparation submission and documentation
Maintain estimating records and cost data
Coordinate with project managers vendors and internal teams
Monitor market pricing and industry trends to improve estimate accuracy

Requirements

3 years of estimating experience in civil construction or sitework
Strong ability to perform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with heavy civil infrastructure or foundation projects
Knowledge of earthwork utilities paving or concrete construction
Experience working on competitive bid projects
