Position Overview

Seeking a Architect with 15 years of experience to support a long-term project for the State of New York. The architect will lead software design technical architecture development standards and provide guidance to multiple development teams throughout the SDLC.

The ideal candidate must have:

Previous State or Federal government experience
Strong Healthcare / HIPAA / PHI experience
Expertise in MVC C# .NET Core Oracle SOA
Strong architecture and leadership background

Key Responsibilities

Lead architecture and technical design for enterprise applications
Guide development teams during the full SDLC
Design scalable applications
Create and maintain SOA-based integrations and secure web services
Develop applications using:
- MVC
- C#
- .NET Core
- Angular 2
- JavaScript
- Web APIs
- WCF
Work extensively with Oracle databases:
- PL/SQL
- Stored Procedures
- Packages
- Triggers
- Views
- Data modeling
Handle HIPAA/PHI healthcare data securely
Troubleshoot production issues and support deployments
Mentor developers and provide architectural guidance
Work with Git/TFS source control
Participate in technical meetings across agencies
Support WCAG 2.0 accessibility compliance

Required Experience

.NET Architecture

15 years designing and developing applications
Strong expertise in:
- MVC
- C#
- .NET Core
- Visual Studio

Government Experience

Previous experience working with:
- State government clients
- Federal government clients

Healthcare / HIPAA

Experience developing healthcare applications containing:

- HIPAA-regulated information
Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and security standards

Oracle Database

Extensive Oracle experience:
