Job Summary
Job Title: IT Sourcing /Procurement Consultant - Hybrid
Duration (Contract): 12 Months
Client Location: Richmond VA 23219
Location Preference: Hybrid
Job Description:
- This role will function to lead the sourcing process through creation of the solicitation documents evaluation of proposals and in execution of agreed upon negotiations strategy with selected suppliers.
- Leads evaluation and execution of risk mitigation strategies and establishes solid contracts that are in the long-term best interest of the customer.
- Has responsibility for managing customer expectations for project deliverables through effective and timely communications.
- Conducts a post-project lessons learned reviews with the customers to promote knowledge transfer and customer satisfaction.
- The role requires the ability to work independently as the team leader in the development and execution of sourcing strategies for assigned projects assisting customers in solving IT business problems.
- Managing a variety of sourcing projects including complex information technology contracts from initial request to executed contract.
- Candidate must have ability to multi-task work with all levels of staff have superior customer service skills and exceptional communication skills both verbally and written.
Required Skills Experiences Education and Competencies:
- Manage complex work efforts
- Deep industry experience (within Procurement and Supplier Mgmt.)
- Experience with contract and vendor Negotiation
- Technical Writing
- Requirements Gathering
- Knowledge of Public Procurement Laws
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $50.00 to $70.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills experience location and industry.
