What Were Looking For
We are seeking a Full-Time Estimator to conduct customer site visits prepare accurate job estimates and proposals coordinate customer opportunities and support revenue growth initiatives. This role is ideal for an organized and customer-focused professional with experience in construction estimating project coordination proposal preparation and customer communication.
What Youll Do
- Conduct customer site visits to evaluate project scope site conditions and operational requirements
- Prepare accurate project estimates scopes of work pricing proposals and supporting documentation
- Coordinate customer opportunities and maintain consistent communication throughout the estimating process
- Follow up on leads estimate requests and pending proposals to support project conversion and revenue growth
- Track proposals estimate statuses approvals and customer responses through internal systems
- Coordinate with subcontractors vendors and operational teams to gather pricing and project information
- Prepare estimates for projects not suitable for automated online quoting systems
- Review labor material subcontractor and project-related costs to ensure accurate pricing and profitability
- Support sales coordination activities and assist with proposal revisions or customer clarification requests
- Coordinate estimate approvals and ensure complete project handoff to operational teams for execution
- Maintain organized records of estimates proposals project documentation and customer communications
- Participate in operational meetings workflow coordination discussions and project planning activities
Work Schedule
Monday through Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM 40 hours per week. Scheduling needs may vary based on operational demands
Travel Requirements
- Approximately 50% travel required
- Company vehicle provided
- No additional travel compensation provided
Education Certifications & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of estimating construction coordination or project management experience
- Strong customer service communication and relationship management skills
- Experience with residential renovations maintenance operations or construction estimating
- Ability to develop scopes of work pricing proposals and project estimates
- Proficiency with estimating software Google Workspace and project tracking systems
- Strong organizational analytical and time-management skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple estimates customer opportunities and project timelines simultaneously
- Experience coordinating subcontractor pricing project costing and proposal preparation preferred
- Bachelors degree preferred in Construction Management Business Management or related field
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required
- Knowledge of residential construction methods standards and safety practices
- Ability to interpret scopes of work drawings and specifications
- Comfort using mobile apps and digital tools for field documentation
Working Conditions
- Field-based with routine office coordination
- Construction site exposure with seasonal weather conditions
- Interaction with contractors vendors inspectors and clients
Physical Demands
- Regular standing walking and climbing during site visits
- Occasional lifting of materials or equipment up to 50 lbs
- Use of company vehicle for operational travel
