As a Security Officer Access Control in Forest MS you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. At an advanced aerospace and defense location Allied Universal officers help manage access control monitor assigned areas and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. This role includes badge verification visible presence and professional customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify identification and/or credentials screen visitors and document access activity in support of authorized site access.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating security-related concerns according to post orders and site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility restricted areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity as assigned for the location.
• Communicate with site contacts supervisors and/or emergency personnel regarding access issues unusual activity and other security-related matters while maintaining detailed and accurate reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
