Lead financial insights where it truly matters - Become our Senior Finance Analyst
Fixed Term 12 Months Full Time Salary $120000- $130000 plus Superannuation (salary based on experience)
GEO Group Australia is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Finance Analyst to provide advanced financial analysis modelling and project leadership. Partner with the business to deliver insights that improve financial performance efficiency and overall organisation outcomes at Ravenhall Correctional Centre.
Reporting to the Finance and Administration Manager Ravenhall Correctional Centre this senior role will see you delivering advanced financial analysis modelling and project support to guide key business decisions.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to partner with leaders across the organisation providing forward-thinking analysis commercial insights and decision support that improves financial performance operational efficiency and overall business outcomes.
- Develop complex financial models to support business cases pricing investment decisions and scenario planning.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis in response to executive and operational requests.
- Analyse trends cost drivers risks and opportunities translating data into clear recommendations.
- Assess financial implications of operational contractual and policy changes.
- Support the Finance & Administration Manager with organisationwide budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Identify emerging financial risks and opportunities and recommend mitigating actions.
- Develop and enhance internal management reports and dashboards to improve insight and usability.
- Identify opportunities to automate streamline or improve financial analysis and reporting processes.
- Work with finance and nonfinance teams to improve data quality and decisionsupport tools.
- Lead and deliver financerelated and crossfunctional projects including efficiency system and process improvement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to automate streamline or improve financial analysis and reporting processes.
- Provide Accountant coverage on as needed basis to other GEO Facilities.
- Provide advice on financial policy interpretation and application.
- Support audits reviews and governance activities by providing analysis and explanatory material as required.
- Contribute to the development of financial frameworks and guidelines.
This role combines leadership financial expertise and meaningful impact.
Ravenhall Correctional Centre is a national leader in rehabilitation offering an integrated service system that spans in-custody treatment through to post-release support. With diverse prisoner profiles specialist units and strong partnerships with respected sector organisations the work is both challenging and deeply meaningful.

About You
Essential:
- Degree qualification in Finance Accounting Commerce or related discipline.
- Extensive experience in financial analysis modelling or finance business partnering roles.
Technical
- Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to interpret complex financial information.
- High level of Excel proficiency; experience with BI and financial systems desirable.
Professional & Interpersonal
- Demonstrated business partnering experience in a complex environment.
- Ability to influence challenge and support stakeholders constructively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills particularly for nonfinancial audiences.
Personal Attributes
- Strategic curious and solutionsfocused.
- Able to manage multiple ad hoc projects and competing priorities.
- High level of professionalism discretion and judgement.
