Global Visual Merchandiser Travel Retail
Job Summary
You are responsible for ensuring best-in-class brand execution at point of sale across airports cruise ships and other travel retail locations worldwide.
This role coordinates all visual merchandising activities from POS material management and seasonal campaign rollouts to store openings and in-store execution while working closely with Swiss teams and retail partners
Key Responsibilities
Visual Merchandising Execution
- Ensure consistent and high-quality visual merchandising across all Travel Retail locations worldwide
- Develop and provide customized Visual Merchandising guidelines and watch planograms to clients
- Monitor and improve in-store brand visibility and execution standards
- Conduct store visits (outside MGI network when required) to ensure best-in-class implementation
POS Material Management
- Manage stock and forecast of POS materials across all brands
- Select appropriate POS materials based on store profile and brand strategy
- Coordinate shipment and delivery of POS materials globally
- Ensure timely replacement of seasonal marketing materials (Spring/Summer Fall/Winter)
Store Openings & Installations
- Support new store openings (new doors) by coordinating VM setup
- Select and adapt POS materials for each location
- Coordinate installations with local MGI teams and partners
- Define objectives and ensure quality execution of each project
Marketing & Campaign Deployment
- Produce and distribute seasonal marketing assets (visuals stickers etc.)
- Ensure proper implementation of campaigns at key points of sale
- Support promotional activations such as pop-up stores and in-store animations
- Coordinate shop-in-shop projects
Field Coordination & Retail Follow-up
- Coordinate POS visits with local MGI teams (subsidiaries)
- Define visit objectives schedules and business priorities
- Facilitate access and organization with retail partners (e.g. airport access)
- Collect and analyze in-store pictures and feedback to monitor execution
Training & Brand Support
- Deliver visual merchandising product and brand training to retail staff
- Support sales teams in improving in-store execution and brand storytelling
- Act as a brand ambassador ensuring consistency and excellence across all touchpoints.
Skills & Experience
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in business administration Marketing Retail or Design (Visual Merchandising / Fashion Design)
- 23 years of experience in Visual Merchandising Retail or Trade Marketing
- Experience in fashion lifestyle or retail brands preferred
- Exposure to multi-store environments is a strong advantage
- Exposure to international or travel retail environments is a plus
Skills & Competencies
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop InDesign) is a strong advantage
- Experience with planogram tools or visual merchandising software is a plus
- Fluent in English (mandatory)
- Additional languages are an advantage
- Strong sense of aesthetics and attention to detail
- Good organizational and coordination skills
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Interest in retail branding and customer experience
- Willingness to travel (up to 10%)
