We have an exciting opportunity for a bank General Radiographer to join our friendly and dynamic Imaging team. This is a varied role covering both general radiography and theatre imaging at Fitzwilliam Hospital in Peterborough with additional theatre support provided at Boston West Hospital.

Youll be part of a supportive patient focused department performing a wide range of examinations including general Xray and theatre work across multiple surgical specialities. Our service operates between 8am and 8pm and participation in weekend working is required as part of the rota.

Your primary base will be Fitzwilliam Hospital a well equipped and welcoming environment with a strong multidisciplinary culture. You will also provide scheduled theatre cover at Boston West Hospital working closely with surgical teams to deliver highquality intraoperative imaging. Travel between sites is an essential part of the role.

Fitzwilliam Hospital is one of Cambridgeshires leading independent hospitals with a reputation for delivering high quality healthcare treatments and services since 1983.

The hospital is situated in the quiet landscaped grounds of the Milton Estate in Peterborough and has 54 single bedrooms and one twin-bedded room all with en suite facilities. The hospital provides services for both private and NHS patients.

What youll bring with you

• Current HCPC registration

• DCR or BSc in Diagnostic Radiography

• Experience in general radiography

• Evidence of CPD

• Knowledge of radiation and patient safety

• The ability to be able to work alone at times

• Excellent verbal written interpersonal and customer service skills

• To be flexible adaptable and be able to demonstrate a patient focussed attitude to delivery of the highest standards of clinical care

• Good knowledge of IT
