Senior MRI Radiographer

Full Time 37.5 hours per week

We are looking for a suitably qualified MRI Radiographer to join our Radiology team as a Senior Radiographer for our MRI suite within the radiology department.

Duties include:

• Responsible for the provision of high quality MRI service within financial margins

• To participate in the provision of a high standard of patient care and treatment

• Participates as a member of the radiology team in providing a radiographic service throughout the whole of the imaging department

• Ability to participate in on call rota and work evening / weekends as required

• Processing radiology bookings

• RIS/PACS processes

• Ensuring that the agreed standards of patient care and confidentiality are maintained in accordance with Ramsay policies

Where youll be based:

Tees Valley Hospital is in the grounds of Acklam Hall in Middlesbrough and opened in February 2018. The hospital delivers a range of specialties including orthopaedics general surgery plastic surgery urology gynaecology dermatology oral endoscopy to both private and NHS patients.

The successful candidate will also hold the following essential qualifications/criteria:

• Sound written and verbal communication skills

• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required

• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business

• Demonstrated Customer Service skills

• Demonstrated Computer Skills

• Experience working in a healthcare or hospital environment

• Must have at least three years of up-to-date MRI experience

• Evidence of post registration development

• Previous private sector experience (desirable)
