We are delighted to offer an excellent opportunity for a Radiographer to join our friendly and progressive Imaging team. This role is ideal for someone at the start of their radiography career who is eager to develop strong clinical skills in both general radiography and theatre imaging within a supportive environment.
You will be primarily based at Fitzwilliam Hospital with additional theatre cover at Boston West Hospital. Both sites offer modern facilities experienced colleagues and a commitment to highquality patient care.
You will be part of a close knit innovative team. The successful applicant will have an enthusiastic outlook to ensure the delivery of a diagnostic imaging service of the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
Perform highquality general radiographic examinations under appropriate supervision and guidance.
Support theatre imaging across a range of surgical specialities with full training provided.
Work collaboratively with radiographers radiologists theatre teams and wider clinical staff.
Ensure patient safety dignity and comfort at all times.
Contribute to maintaining accurate imaging records and adhering to IR(ME)R and local policies.
Participate in the departments 8am8pm service and weekend rota.
Engage in ongoing learning reflective practice and competency development.
Fitzwilliam Hospital is one of Cambridgeshires leading independent hospitals with a reputation for delivering high quality healthcare treatments and services since 1983. The hospital is situated in the quiet landscaped grounds of the Milton Estate in Peterborough and has 54 single bedrooms and one twin-bedded room all with en suite facilities. The hospital provides services for both private and NHS patients.
By investing in advanced medical technology the hospital offers a state-of-the-art range of treatments and services. The fully equipped ultra clean air theatre suite is particularly suitable for orthopaedic procedures such as spinal surgery arthroscopy hip replacements and knee replacements. The Braithwaite day unit is used for minor operations and endoscopies.
What youll bring with you
You must have a Diploma form the College of Radiographers or hold a BSc in Radiology and be registered with the HCPC.
