Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineer HVAC and mechanical systems for design-build projects.
• Create and review proposal and permit designs energy modeling specifications and commissioning plans.
• Conduct site visits and construction reviews to ensure design compliance.
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve engineering challenges.
• Ensure project outcomes meet customer expectations budgets and schedules.
• Provide accurate time estimates for tasks and monitor progress toward project timelines.

Knowledge and Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC and mechanical systems; plumbing experience a plus.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office tools (Excel Word PowerPoint Project).
• Working knowledge of Bluebeam energy modeling software (HAP TRACE).
• Experience designing systems such as air hydronic steam refrigeration and industrial ventilation.
• Familiarity with various industry sectors: industrial commercial pharmaceutical laboratory life sciences etc.
• Strong analytical organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to interact with all levels of project stakeholders and team members.

Education and Certifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) required.
• PE (Professional Engineer) license preferred.
• EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification a plus.
