Day to day as a Warehouse Materials Handler
As a Full-Time Warehouse Materials Handler at SLEMCO you will provide essential operational support to the Cooperative through effective inventory management and accurate receipt of materials and supplies. Your responsibilities will include maintaining optimal inventory stock levels and utilizing equipment such as forklifts pallet jacks dollies and cranes to streamline warehouse operations. You will conduct periodic physical inventories as required meticulously verifying counts and resolving discrepancies to ensure accuracy and efficiency in our processes. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that our operations run smoothly enabling us to maintain our commitment to customer-centricity and excellence.
Are you the Warehouse Materials Handler were looking for
To excel as a Full-Time Warehouse Materials Handler at SLEMCO you will need a combination of technical proficiency and practical skills. The ability to operate basic office machines such as calculators fax machines and printers is essential as is the capability to perform independent tasks like calculations sending/receiving faxes and printing. Competence in using Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications will be necessary for tasks including internet access email communication and document creation. A current CDL is required and can be obtained during your employment.
Your success in this role also hinges on your attention to detail problem-solving abilities and adaptability to the dynamic warehouse environment. Together these skills will enable you to contribute effectively to our mission of operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
