Timekeeper
Austin Industrial is a leading General Contractor that provides construction maintenance turnaround and plant services within the oil gas chemical power and manufacturing industries. We are currently seeking an experiencedâTimekeeper.
Duties
Administerâand prepare weekly payroll and verify time reports to ensure accuracy.
Prepare controls and merge with other data required for preparation of payroll.
Prepare control documents for use in reconciling one or more of the following:â payroll payables and receivables transactions.
Prepare the preparation of pay estimates cost reports etc.
Assist with new employee sign ups basic personnel administration activities and general administration.
Assist with preparation ofâdaily weekly monthly quarterly and annual closing statements reports and invoices.
Assist withâmonitoring subcontractor cost and issuance of back charges.
Perform additional assignments per supervisors direction.
Distribute payroll.
Train new payroll employees.

Requirements
Must have strong experience with Microsoft Word Excel Access and Outlook.â Viewpoint knowledge a plus.
Candidate should have 4 years direct experience in a Timekeeping role withâpayroll.
Must have good communication skills and time management skills.
Experience in an industrial environment preferred.
