• Competitive pay: $26 - $32/hr
• Shift: Monday - Friday 40-60 hours per week some weekend work required

We are looking for an experienced General Labourer for a project in Kamloops BC.

The role of the General Labourer is to assist with site maintenance cleaning of equipment helping around the site monitoring disposal of items and general site clean up.

• Follow all workplace safety policies and compliance regulations participate in identifying hazards
• Comply with all rules and regulations protocols and established metrics
• Establish or adjust daily tasks/schedules to meet changing order priorities
• Maintenance of equipment e.g. wash equipment
• Follow maintenance testing and repairs procedures of products
• Keep yard and equipment neat and organized
• May be asked to travel to other job sites to assist if necessary
• Provide internal and external Customer Service excellence
• Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of yard shop department or work crew
• Ability to understand cross training on all functions at facility
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager

• Can carry at least 50 lbs and swing a 10 lbs sledge hammer
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions (snow rain sub-freezing temps heat wind)
• Ability to Travel to various project sites
• Strong safety mindset
• Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule
• Previous experience in the civil construction industry is an asset
• Needs to be responsible accountable and dependable
• Demonstrates strong communication skills both verbally and written
• Highly flexible with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
