Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing and managing cross functional technology led or product focused programs. Manages budgets and interfaces with contractors suppliers customers and internal functions. Manages program resource and budget allocation/integration. Manages schedule budget and tollgate process for NPI requisition or sustaining programs. Influences the programs to meet customer CTQs.
• Includes direct people management responsibility including staffing and performance development. Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.
• Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
• Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
• Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical or Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience
• 3-5 years experience in project management

Desired Characteristics

• Experience using Confluence JIRA Agile / SAFe methodologies
• Prior experience in the capacity of managing sustaining engineering activities electronic PCBA design & manufacturing process knowledge transition into manufacturing
• Superior verbal written and interpersonal skills including the ability to build solid relationships conduct negotiations.
• Experience in power systems and protection relays
• Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
• Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
• Proven analytical and organizational ability.

• Strong oral and written communication skills demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems proficiency in documenting planning marketing and executing programs and established project management skills.

For candidates applying to a Canadian-based position the pay range for this position is between $110K and $160K CAD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience education and skill set.
