The Tooling Maintenance Specialist/Toolmaker ensure that all tooling and molds are clean and well maintained at all times to ensure proper functioning quality and performance.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Maintenance: Repair all production related equipment hardware and tools as needed this will include general maintenance and replacement of production machine parts to limit chance of production breakdowns. Document tooling maintenance in accordance with internal and external requirements. Develop/update process documents to show proper repair and maintenance techniques.
- Tool Making: Machine grind and EDM tooling components according to drawings.
- Cleaning: Clean repair and maintain molds and inserts in accordance with the tool suppliers maintenance schedule and instructions.
- Work environment: Maintain a clean and organized work space. Maintain a safe work environment by assuring conformance to policies and good practices. Address safety issues immediately people equipment or work area.
- Including other duties assigned by your Manager from time to time.
Additional Job Responsibilities
- Conduct special projects as assigned.
- Assist in training new team members.
