You will lead retrofit and ground-up construction projects from planning through closeout. You will own schedule cost and execution. You will manage MEP scope with precision. You will work independently and partner with owners designers subcontractors and federal stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
Lead multiple retrofits and or ground-up construction projects
Manage full project lifecycle from preconstruction to closeout
Develop and maintain advanced project schedules
Control scope cost and change management
Lead MEP coordination and issue resolution
Review track and approve submittals and RFIs
Implement clear project processes and documentation standards
Track budgets forecasts and cost reports
Manage subcontractor performance and compliance
Coordinate inspections testing and commissioning
Ensure job site compliance with federal requirements
Communicate clearly with owners and team members
Solve problems quickly with minimal oversight
Minimum qualifications
8 or more years of construction project management experience
Proven experience with retrofit and or ground-up construction
Direct management of MEP trades and systems
Advanced scheduling experience using industry tools
Strong submittal tracking and document control skills
Demonstrated cost tracking and budget management experience
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Experience working on active federal job sites
S. work authorization and ability to meet federal site requirements
Preferred qualifications
Bachelors degree in construction management engineering or related field preferred
Federal construction experience with GSA DOD or similar agencies
