Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC ishiring an experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse for a travel float pool assignment in Atlanta GA. This role will support multiple PCU/IMCU units caring for cardiac and telemetry patients in a high-acuity hospital environment.
Job Details:
- 13-week travel assignment
- Day shift schedule
- 3 shifts per week
- Float pool assignment across all PCU/IMCU units
- May float to telemetry patients with lower acuity levels
- Patient ratio: 1:34
- EMR System: Epic
Clinical Experience Required:
- STEMI and NSTEMI patient care
- Cardiothoracic surgery recovery patients
- Chest pain and cardiac monitoring
- Cardiac drip management including:
- Milrinone
- Dobutamine
- Pressors
- Telemetry interpretation and monitoring experience
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/IMCU experience in a similar-sized facility
- Active RN license
- Current AHA BLS Certification
- Current ACLS Certification
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Strong cardiac and telemetry experience required
