Residential Support Worker
Salary:up to 30000 per annum dependant on qualifications and experience.
Location: Michinhampton Gloucestershire
Contract/Hours: Permanent Full Time 37 hours per week
- 29 days annual leave PLUS bank holidays with up to 5 additional days for continuous service and option to buy or sell leave

Our Residential Support Workerscreate a safe and supportive environment for the young person to grow and develop. You will ensure their wellbeing is prioritised by delivering personalised care guidance and advocacy. It is key that they stay safe and healthyand can reach their full potential.

About the service.
Rowan Tree House is a forever home in abeautiful setting in Gloucestershire the home is for a young person with complex needs. Rowan Tree House will provide the young person who lives there with a home for life. Giving the young person stabilityconsistency and appropriate care and support while supporting them to integrate into the community as much as possible and achieve supported independence as they transition into adulthood.
How youll help to create brighter futures.
- Provide lead case/care planning management including assessing reviewing and managing risk
- Co-ordinating responsibilities within the service with multi agency and producing family information including analysis and written reports
- Attendance at professional meetings including reviews court work etc.
- Lead shifts with the primary aim of the provision of a high-quality service
- Supervise and guide staff as required in accordance with Action for Children policies and procedures
- Lead by example with the application of Action for Childrens policy procedures and professional practice standards and in line with registration requirements.
Lets talk about you
Are you resilient and have a positive approach to change and challenge We are looking for someone with a can do attitude to join our team as a residential support worker Ideally you will have:
- Experience of leading Shifts in a Care setting
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or recognised equivalent) is essential
- Experience and training in safeguarding
- An innovative and creative approach to problem solving
- Experience of developing tailored care plans
- The ability to create a safe and fun environment for both staff and children in the home and in the community.
