About the Team:

We are not building another service. We are reshaping how a whole system works for children and families.

Our Families First Partnership Programme team sits at the heart of local transformation bringing together social care education health and community partners to deliver earlier help stronger relationships and better outcomes for children.

This is a team for people who want to do more than maintain systems; you will help redesign them.

• Driving the shift from crisis response to early relational family-led support
• Building integrated multi-agency practice that wraps around families not services
• Turning national reform into meaningful local change
• Using insight data and frontline intelligence to continuously improve how we work

You will be part of a collaborative ambitious team that operates across organisational boundaries influences senior leaders and works directly with practitioners and partners to make change stick.

This is complex high-impact work. It requires curiosity credibility and the confidence to challenge and rethink how things have always been done.

About the Role:

You are a Data Analyst who understands that insight drives change. You have worked with data in a local authority or public service context and are confident navigating complex datasets across childrens services education health and partners. You understand performance demand and what sits behind the numbers.

You can visualise and explain data to non-technical audiences and care about using evidence to improve outcomes.

You will have a degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (e.g. data/analytics statistics social science economics) or substantial relevant experience.

You will bring:

• Strong analytical capability with experience handling multi-agency or public sector datasets
• Confidence using tools such as Excel Power BI SQL (or similar) to analyse and present data
• Experience producing dashboards and insight that inform operational and strategic decisions
• Ability to interrogate data and translate insight clearly for frontline teams to senior leaders
• Focus on impact linking data to outcomes for children and families

You will play a key role in helping us understand whether Families First is working locally and where we need to shift adapt and improve.

What youll do:
Produce monthly dashboards and statutory/corporate returns
Build analytical models to spot trends risks and opportunities
Improve data quality and definitions across systems
Translate complex analysis into practical accessible insights#
