Material Handler

We are seeking a dedicated self-motivated Material Handler / Shipping Clerk for our operation in Canton MI. The successful candidate will work in a warehouse environment and be responsible for performing various aspects of our shipping and receiving process such as the essential duties listed below:

• Pull verify and package orders/items for shipping; prepare packing slips and other required documentation.
• Invoice outgoing orders/shipments in the computer system and provide documents to customers by email.
• Prepare required documentation and contact approved carriers to setup shipments both global and domestic.
• Contact customers with shipment information.
• Inventory items in Sales Inventory. Receive incoming goods according to procedure.

Skills/Experience:

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous job experience in a shipping/receiving position preferred.
• Organized good communication and computer skills.
• Flexible and able to multi-task; demonstrates resourcefulness and ability to set priorities within a fast-paced evolving environment.
• Hilo experience preferred.
