Join Allied Universal in a healthcare location as an unarmed officer where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas remain visible to help deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and this dynamic role you will contribute to a caring culture that values teamwork reliability innovation and integrity while helping staff patients and visitors throughout the location.

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients staff visitors and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location including interior areas entrances parking areas and perimeter points with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing visitor activity verifying credentials when required and reporting access-related issues to site contacts.
• Support a professional healthcare environment by assisting with directions addressing routine questions and communicating with staff and/or first responders during security-related events.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
