The University of Southern Maines Osher School of Music is seeking a temporary/part-time House Manager for the Fall 2026 Semester.

In this role the House Manager will manage front-of-house operations for Osher School of Music performances and events as well as external rentals for the Crewe Center for the Arts as needed and assigned. The House Manager serves as the primary point of contact for patrons on event nights oversees a team of work-study students and volunteer ushers to ensure a smooth and welcoming concert experience.

Responsibilities include training and coordinating front-of-house student work-study staff managing patron flow and seating liaising with the USM Parking Department to coordinate patron parking logistics and handling post-concert revenue deposits. The ideal candidate is a reliable people-oriented professional who is comfortable in a fast-paced live event environment and takes pride in delivering an exceptional patron experience.

This is a temporary part-time in person position on our Portland campus and will pay $22 - $25/hour depending on experience.
