Facility Technician II Logistics

Facility TechnicianII - Logisticsis responsible for performing a variety of hands-on industrial operations within the facilitys warehouse including but not limited to mixing and pulling feed. Loading and unloading 55-gallon drums offloading vans and completing paperwork for waste tracking/inventory purposes. We are looking for safety-oriented and reliable individuals who do not mind physically demanding work to join our team in El Dorado AR!

Union Wage: $28.90

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices policies and processes and always acting in a safe manner

• Performs hands on operations offloading vans and completing paperwork for waste tracking/inventory purposes.

• Performs drum storage and inventory management

• Complete general warehouse housekeeping and preventative maintenance as needed.

• Operate a forklift

• Must display proficiency (within 30 days) working with computer-based systems including Microsoft Office programs (Outlook Email Word Excel One Drive SharePoint etc.) and able to learn systems such as WIN WEB or any other internal planning tools.

• Must be willing and able to work either day or night shift depending on Feed Plannings operational needs

• Must display proficiency (within 30 days) in warehouse inventory VPI pull lists Coming Due & Aging Inventory reports.

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with multiple departments including but not limited to: Operations Receiving Compliance & Rack Team.

• Ability to work daily within compliance policies & procedures to include but not limited to: Scanning Inventory Staging/Storage.

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors

• HS Diploma or equivalent

• 1-2 years of Industrial or warehouse experience preferred

• 2 years experience in a planning coordinating or logistics role (formal or informal) preferred

• 1 years Forklift experience preferred and must be able to demonstrate proficiency within a set time frame of a progression plan

• Minimum 2 years of direct experience in a hazardous waste chemical or industrial processing environment.

• Proven ability to solve problems and make decisions independently under time constraints.

• Computer savvy

• IPAD experience is a plus!

• MS Office suite Excel Word Outlook

• Must be able to work well in a team and independently

• Must be able to communicate effectively with the team and other departments

• Change direction at moments notice

• Follow direction and take initiative

• Ability to work a rotating shift

• Ability to work under adverse conditions (heat & cold)

• Accountability and punctuality
