ARIS at home is looking for a skilled compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNAs) to join our team in providing high-quality 1-on-1 care.
If you are looking for a meaningful weekend role where you can truly focus on one individuals well-being rather than a heavy facility floor load we want to meet you.
The Opportunity
We are specifically seeking a caregiver to support a local Veteran. This is a consistent weekend shift that allows you to build a genuine rapport while utilizing your professional skills.
- Schedule: Saturdays & Sundays 9:00 AM 7:00 PM
- Pay: $23.00 per hour
- Location: Long Grove IL
Key Responsibilities
In this role you will provide essential support to ensure our client remains safe and comfortable at home. Duties include:
- Advanced Mobility Support: Safe transfers using a Hoyer Lift (Required).
- Personal Care: Assistance with bathing grooming and incontinence care.
- Specialized Care: Providing support for Alzheimers and Dementia needs.
- Daily Living: Medication reminders light housekeeping and laundry.
- Companionship: Engaging in conversation and providing a positive environment for a Veteran.
Qualifications
- Hoyer Lift Experience: Must be proficient and comfortable with mechanical lift transfers.
- CNA Certification: Preferred (HHA PCA or LPN experience also welcomed).
- Reliability: Must be 21 years of age with a proven track record of dependability.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift over 25 lbs.
- Transportation: Must have a valid drivers license and auto insurance (if driving your own vehicle) OR a proven ability to use public transportation reliably.
- Mindset: Resilient adaptable and passionate about home care.
Please Note: You will not work with ARIS at home as a certified nursing assistant (CNA C.N.A.) but as one of the following: caregiver companion personal care attendant HHA CHHA H.H.A. home health aide home health worker home care caregiver homemaker
