TheCheer Coach willbe responsible forall aspects ofdeveloping andcoaching theCheer Coachwillbe responsible forthe recruitment ofstudent-athleteswhile also supporting a culture that offersa positivestudent-athleteexperience.

JOBREQUIREMENTS:

• Attendcheerevents. This includes presence atpracticesRU home gamesspecial events and cheercompetitions.

• Evaluate academically and athletically qualifiedstudent-athletesfor recruitment.

• Plan and implement instructional practices that maximize the talent and potential of student-athletes while instilling values suchassportsmanship leadership and personal wellness.

• Demonstrate the ability to relate to and motivate student-athletes and to work with a variety ofUniversitystaff alumni and the outside community.

• Promotethe mission of the Athletic Department and Rockhurst University

QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Time management skills

• Minimum 2 years of cheercoaching experience

• Preferred cheer coaching and/or participationat the collegiate level

• Bachelors Degree
