Quality Control Engineer

The Quality Control Engineer is responsible for assisting in the inspection of materials and fabricated products to ensure they meet company quality standards drawings and specifications. This position supports quality activities from material receipt through fabrication and shipping while learning inspection procedures documentation requirements and safety practices under supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect incoming materials and fabricated steel parts for quality and accuracy
• Perform basic dimensional and visual inspections using drawings and instructions
• Assist with visual weld inspections following company standards
• Complete inspection records and report nonconforming materials to the quality team
• Follow all safety quality and company procedures on the shop floor

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree preferred
• Prior shop manufacturing or fabrication experience preferred
• Willingness to work overtime and Saturdays as required by workload
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational skills required

Salary:

• $70000 - $76750
• Dependent upon experience
