Job Summary

Description

To drive and operate the forklift safely.
To perform general production tasks and functions.
Ability to converse in a business medium communication

Daily checks on the forklift.
Proper storage of goods or items with the use of the forklift trolley or hands.
Receiving and Dispatch of raw/ processed material with the use of the forklift trolley or hands.
Issue materials from the Stores/Warehouse.
Address shortages with Stores Person/Stores Supervisor.
Ensure all paperwork received and issued are given to Stores Person/Stores Supervisor.
Supports with stock control/stock take.
Operate the forklift in tight spaces.
Maintain housekeeping and Safety (6S) Other general duties in the Stores/Warehouse and provide service to all departments where Forklifting services are required.
Storing goods in line with instructions.
Moving stock around by hand using pallet trolley or the forklift.
Loading and offloading trucks/vehicles.
Work well in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Minimum academic qualification: Matric Valid Forklift license

Minimum of Forklift: 2-3 years

Packing and Dispatch experience: 1 year
