Summary

The Clinical Fellow (CF) position is a 10-12 month position. During this time the fellow will be supervised by a NYS licensed SLP with ASHA order for the fellow to receive their NYS licensure and ASHA certification at the end of the time period the CF needs to show proficiency in all areas required by the state and National Organization.

Our collaborative teams provide comprehensive care throughout all stages of a childs development by offering these services: Applied Behavior Analysis Speech Therapy Occupational Therapy Social Work and Diagnostic Evaluations (service availability varies by location).


What youll be doing at Autism Care Partners:


Essential Functions

  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
  • Conduct evaluations and service delivery
  • Timely completion of paperwork
  • Participate in mandatory supervision visits
  • Attend weekly speech department meetings

Competencies

The CF must be able to effectively communicate with children parents districts DOH personnel and agency staff.


Meeting Expectations

  • CF must attend a weekly group meeting as well as meet with the individuals CF supervisor.
  • CF will participate in trainings and in-services.
  • CF will participate in IFSP/CPSE/CSE meetings for clients.

Work Environment

Services may take place both in the field and office environments.


Physical Demands

  • CF needs to be able to carry equipment and necessary items to clients homes daycares and schools.
  • CF may need to lift children up to 50 pounds.
  • CF must be able to get on/off the floor

Travel Required

CF must be able to drive in order to service clients.


Education and Experience

  • CF must have a masters degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • CF must have a NYS TSSLD certification.

Additional Requirements

  • Employees in this role are considered essential workers as part of the critical infrastructure.
  • No prior criminal history.
  • Ability to utilize technology
  • Proficient computer skills- Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) Microsoft Outlook Adobe Teams
