Sheet Metal Journeyman Up to 30 ph DOE Winston-Salem, NC

AC Corporation is seeking a skilledSheet Metal Journeymanto join our growing field team. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and enjoys working on a wide range of commercial and industrial HVAC projects.

What Youll Do

• Fabricate assemble install and repair sheet metal systems and HVAC components
• Install ductwork HVAC units VAVs reheat coils fire dampers air risers and clean room systems
• Read and interpret blueprints sketches specifications and work orders
• Select appropriate materials gauges and fabrication methods
• Set up and operate shears brakes presses and other fabrication equipment
• Layout cut form and finish materials using hand and power tools
• Assemble components using welding soldering riveting bolting screwing clipping caulking or bonding methods
• Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy
• Assist and provide direction to apprentices as needed
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

What Were Looking For

• Strong working knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and installation
• Proficiency with hand tools power tools and fabrication machinery
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation
• Must supply personal hand tools

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand walk bend kneel and work for extended periods
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Climb ladders scaffolding and work at heights
• Comfortable working in confined spaces and on rooftops
