Maintenance Inventory Coordinator

SUMMARY:The Maintenance Inventory Coordinator is responsible for supporting maintenance operations by maintaining an adequate inventory of spare parts and managing equipment filters according to PM schedules. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Responsible for production equipment filters (25%)Responsible for replacing all filters according to PM schedules on a weekly for maintaining an adequate filter inventory at all for continuously optimizing filter types and adjusting PM frequencies as for continuously optimizing the filter management process such as implementing machine hour meters differential pressure gauges and better for managing all aspects of equipment inventory (25%)Responsible for becoming a CMMS expertResponsible for new part creation in the CMMSResponsible for optimizing inventory min/max levelsResponsible for assessing all expedited parts to be stockedResponsible for continuously improving the organization of inventory and stocking received partsResponsible for kitting and prepping materials for planned for conducting inventory with the project manager to ensure adequate supply of inventoried parts are on hand for large and maintenance Support: (50%)Act as the liaison between maintenance purchasing and suppliersAdministrative tasks such as creating Work Orders in response to failed oil sample analysis shipping and receiving of maintenance repair parts (10%)Assist with PMs equipment repairs and upgrades as needed. (<5%)Assist as needed and be a backup to the Maintenance Planner/Project ManagerEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in a Production Maintenance Environment. Familiar with CMMS and material management software applications KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES:Strong mechanical and electrical aptitudeThe ability to be hands-on with equipmentA high level of self-motivation and being self-directedStrong written and verbal communication skillsThe ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic production organizational skillsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS:Physical Requirements: Required to sit stand walk bend lift and reach.
