Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Parts Driver to join our this role you will deliver and pick up parts and equipment for the dealership while maintaining a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and professional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver parts and equipment to clients satellite stores and vendors
• Pick up parts and equipment from clients satellite stores and vendors (coordinated with the Parts Manager and team)
• Complete delivery logs and obtain recipient signatures at each stop
• Unload truck each night and turn in all paperwork and undelivered parts
• Help maintain the professional appearance of the parts department
• Perform basic upkeep and maintenance of the company truck
• Operate a forklift safely when required
• Provide outstanding service with a true commitment to satisfying and retaining clients

Key Functions:

• Safely drive company vehicles for 6 hours per shift
• Load unload and transport parts weighing up to 70 pounds
• Maintain accurate records and paperwork for all deliveries and pickups
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean and in good operating condition
• Work effectively with the Parts Manager Counter Team and Shipping & Receiving

Requirements:

• Valid drivers license and a good driving record
• Ability to safely drive and operate a forklift
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
• Ability to use a computer and learn our parts inventory system
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Professional personal appearance
• Physical ability to lift and move parts up to 70 lbs repeatedly
• Reliable safety-minded and customer-focused attitude

Drug and Alcohol Test Requirement

Must be able to successfully pass a drug/alcohol screen random drug and controlled substance abuse tests and background investigation as a condition of employment. Bill Alexander Automotive Group is a drug-free workplace.
